Awaken was a two-year generosity initiative that Traders Point Christian Church went through during my time as their strategic marketing director. The initiative had two goals - primarily to see their people be 100% engaged in the mission and life of the church, and secondarily to invite the congregation into committing $84 million dollars over two years to fulfill the church’s vision in three key areas.

In my role, I led our team through developing the brand and visual identity for the initiative, as well as the marketing and communication through the private and public phases of the campaign that resulted in receiving $86 million in commitments, $2 million over the goal. I was also responsible for creating interactive experiences for events that were a part of the rollout of the vision. Those experiences included a mobile history museum that would travel to all six Traders Point locations that guests could engage and interact with, as well as a centerpiece ceiling installation made up of acrylic tiles that guests had written on during the touring events.

Our team was also responsible for the production of the Awaken guidebook, an interactive book that outlined the church’s history, the Awaken vision, and created space for guests to interact with the weekend gathering and the weekly Bible study content.

I also oversaw the creation of the Awaken merchandise collection and the design and implementation of the storefront experiences at all locations throughout the Awaken message series.
